Getting To Know Fabric 101 (1 Session) - Beginner
Do you know the difference between seersucker, gauze, scuba, double polyester fabrics? In this class Donna will be discussing different fabric types, what they are made out of, when to use them, and how to do a burn test on unknown fabrics. You will get started on setting up a swatch file to help you identify fabrics.
Then we will take a trip to Joann's where Donna will guide you through the store to touch and feel the fabrics that you learned about.
Supplies- 1pkg of large index cards, stapler and pen.
